Bonus Saturday repeat included in this week's torrent!
Of course, subscribers get the Saturday episode every week, but as a sample, I've included it in this week's torrent. The Saturday repeats usually follow a theme or run of interesting shows. The last 3 Saturday's have featured the teacher from New York's string of victories (I'll let you speculate why that might be deemed interesting or noteworthy by the syndicators), but any extra Jeopardy is welcome, especially to break up the standard fare of Saturday night basic cable drivel.

May 31 show is definitely gone forever
By watching Monday's show and Wednesday's, there was obviously a show missing. Investigation into the schedule on TitanTV as well as ABC 7's site, there was no mention of or airing of any errant episodes.
That mystery "not scheduled" block at about 12:30 AM on Tuesday night was just Jimmy Kimmel. Because this is a syndicated show, I guess ABC 7 just decided to not air the scheduled show at all on Tuesday.

31 May, 2011, other airing disruptions during NBA playoffs
Unfortunately, the local ABC affiliate is preempting Jeopardy! tonight and a few times in the upcoming weeks due to the NBA playoffs. This is new because I don't remember Jeopardy! being preempted except when the Lakers were in the playoffs.
Anyway, these are the different schedules for the next two weeks:
Tonight, May 31: UNKNOWN*
Thu, Jun 02, 10:00 PM
Tue, Jun 07, 10:00 PM
Thu, Jun 09, 10:00 PM
Thu, Jun 14, 10:00 PM
On the delayed nights, the show will be uploaded and available approximately 90 minutes after airing (11:30 PM, PST [GMT -8].)
Other nights are scheduled for normal airing. The listings on TitanTV.com show "not available" for the 12 AM - 1:30 Am slot tonight, so they may show it then. I have it set to capture during these hours. We will will know if they are simply postponing tonight's episode NLT than tomorrow.
I'm not sure how long these playoffs will last and/or how they will disrupt Jeopardy! beyond these 2 weeks, but I will keep you posted.
Thanks for your patience during these annoying times!

Saturday repeat cancelled due to Lakers playoff game & Teacher's Tournament update
Saturday's repeat episode was canceled here due to preemption by NBA Lakers game. I'll be watching the updated TV schedule because that will probably mean delayed airings of new episodes depending on how many games/how far into the finals the Lakers go. Let's keep our fingers crossed and hope that the Lakers fail early and get expelled from the playoffs ;)
Also, the Teacher's tournament is on schedule. In Friday's episode, Alex remarked that it was teh fourth game of the tournament which means that here in the L.A. market, everything is simply 1 day behind, and that we have not missed anything. The re-airing of monday's episode was not an error and we should be seeing the whole tournament and get back on schedule next week with regular players.
Personally, I find that the teacher's tournament to be annoying; the questions are dumbed-down as well as the teachers' being annoying contestants. This probably means that the tournament will be a ratings hit and that this tournament will continue for years to come. I'm ready to get back to watching the regular geek contestants.

Teacher's tournament (05-02 & 03) mystery?
I just sat down to watch last night's show and realized it was the same episode as Monday's; this was not an error on my part.
Monday's (05-02) episode was preempted by an ABC news special about Osama/Obama, so they ran the Jeopardy! episode at 1:36 AM right after Jimmy Kimmel. Tuesday's episode ran at the normal time, but it was a repeat of the previous one.
Not sure if ABC 7 (the local ABC affiliate here in L.A.) made a mistake, but that seems unlikely. Rather, I think they probably realized that most fans of Jeopardy! (i.e., little old ladies and reclusive nerds - HA, just kidding;) would have missed it, so they ran it again on Tuesday night. I checked the listings on TitanTV.com and it showed both as "new" , not repeats, so that didn't help.
Anyway, we'll find out what's going on as the tournament progresses.
